Bikaner Camel Festival is a colorful festival of Ship of the Desert ‘Camel’. Organized by the Department of Tourism, Bikaner Camel Festival is celebrated in the small village of Ladera in Bikaner in the month of January every year. This two-day and night Camel Festival attracts locals as well as tourists from all around the world. People came here to see the charms of camel.
Bikaner Camel Fair also serves a the best place for camel owners flock to show-off their camels and their best features. Various competitions of camels are organized like best decorated camel, fur cutting design, camel milking and the best camel hair cut which often attracted common person and tourists. Apart from interesting competition, there are cultural programmes of folk music and dance of desert region. Camel races, camel dances, and the bumpy, neck shaking camel rides are best to watc at Bikaner Camel Festival.
