It broadcasts many programmes in Hindi and other regional languages of India. It is a part of the Essel Group. It is also broadcasted in in various nations of South and East Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australasia and North America.
Zee TV was founded by Subhash Chandra and was launched in India on 1 October 1992, becoming the country’s first Hindi satellite channel.
With a reach of more than 120 countries and access to more than 500 million viewers globally, Zee TV has created strong brand equity and is the largest media franchise serving the South Asian Diaspora. With over sixteen (16) years of its launch, Zee TV has driven the growth of the satellite and cable industry in India.
