Rambagh Palace is a masterpiece in Jaipur. It was built in 1835 for queen’s favorite handmaiden Kesar Badran and called as Kesar Badran Ka Bagh. Later this mansion was renamed after the then reigning Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh II. In 1925, Rambagh Palace achieved the status of a palace when Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II make it his resident. In 1957 it is converted to a hotel. Till now it welcomed many legends such as Lord Louis Mountbatten, (who gave his name to a suite), Prince Charles, Jacqueline Kennedy. It is also conferred as “The Most Beautiful Gardens in the World”, Peter Coats’ and the gardens of Rambagh Palace Hotel stand distinguished for its elegant and exotic flora.
