Ramgarh Fresco is a meticulously restored 110 year old heritage haveli in the quaint town of Ramgarh, Shekhawati, formerly known as the Khemka Haveli . Ramgarh Fresco adorned with fascinating paintings. Both the exterior and interior boast of superb and rare artifacts and frescos. The paintings are truly captivating and at the same time offer an incredible variety. The over a century old haveli has been lovingly restored and renovated into the Heritage boutique hotel in 2009 by Khandelwals from Delhi, now operated by Raghvendra Singh Rathore & Priya Rathore, who are from a prominent Rajput family.
The décor is simple and tasteful – everything from the elegantly hand crafted wooden furniture to lampshades to the colourful bedspreads to carefully selected art objects.The hotel has 14 rooms, ranging from a cosy single room for individual privacy to large suites

Camel cart ride – A leisurely camel cart ride to the dunes and old johra (water tank) at Ramgarh. It’s a wonderful way to experience this fascinating landscape. Cost: Rs 1,200 per camel cart ride, duration about 1.5 hours, each cart can take up to 4 people.
Rajasthani cooking demonstration – Learn to cook authentic home style Rajasthani food, with detailed instructions in English. Cost Rs 300 per person (minimum 2 people)
Folk music and dance – An authentic music performance, from regional folk musicians. Cost Rs 4000 for a 1.5 hour performance.
Ramgarh is located in the Sikar District of the Shekhawati region near Mandawa , It lies halfway between Jaipur & Bikaner.Nestled in the Shekhawati region – the “open air art gallery of Rajasthan” – and surrounded by rolling sand dunes, lies the enchanting town of Ramgarh. Ramgarh was founded in 1791 by the Poddar family and it was one of the richest towns in 19th century India , It has more than 250 painted havelis, & about 100 temples, many chhatris (cenotaphs) and johras (water tanks) .
