Hotel Khimsar Fort is a luxurious 5 star Heritage Hotel run by the groups of hotels, owned by the Royal Families of Jodhpur. This magnificent fort was built by Rao Karamsji, the 8th son of Rao Jodha in the 16th century. Later on it was opened out to royal Rajput hospitality, personally overseen by the family, on a grand and elegant scale.

This fort spread over an area of 11 acres, is awarded the 'Grand Heritage Award for Excellence' by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. It is located at the edge of the Great Thar Desert in the state of Rajasthan and borders the stark and arid Thar Desert, providing a beautiful view of the Thar Desert.
