Loading...Dhariyawad Location - Dhariyawad is located in the south of Rajasthan, in Pratapgarh district. Dhariyawad is situated on the confluences of the Karmoi and Jakham rivers. It is surrounded by thick subtropical dense desert forests of the Aravali Hills. It is at the southeast of Udaipur(129 km) and southwest of Kota(290 km).
By Road – Dhariyawad is well connected by road network with Pratapgarh which is the district headquarters. On the other hand, Pratapgarh is also having better connectivity with major and minor cities and towns within Rajasthan and rest of India.
There is good road access between the neighboring state of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.

By Train – It is to be highly noted that Pratapgarh is the only district that is without rail-connectivity in Rajasthan state. However, efforts are taken by the Ministry of Railways to connect Pratapgarh with broad-gauge from Mandsaur (32 km). The plans are in just papers.
I hope the dream of a railway line to this district with come true with the pressure of the state government in the near future. Therefore, the native and foreign tourists are advised never to plan the trip by train as even the nearest railway station is much far from the district.
By Air – It is to be noted that there four Temporary helipads in this district. They are at Chhoti Sadri, Peepalkhoont, Dhariyawad and Pratapgarh. The construction of an airport work is going on full-swing in Varmandal village that is 13 km from Pratapgarh.
Therefore the best way to reach Dhariyawad is through the roadways. It is better to hire a taxi or luxury van to reach the major and minor destinations in and around Dhariyawad and Pratapgarh.
